VICTORY PRAYER TEMPLE (VPT)
Prayer is our weapon! VPT is a multi-ethnic church called to impact our community, nation and the world. We are a spirit centered church in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts USA. VPT is under the leadership of Pastor Bernard and Lady Hilda Eshun who are die hard preachers of the word of God, vibrant in prayer and oversees the operation of the ministry in the church. We hope that VPT is going to be a place where you will call a home. We would love for you to join us today and be part of this Godly congregation that values and cares for one another.

At Victory Prayer Temple our Vision is to draw the lost back to Christ, Lead people in the path of knowing God, Renew their faith, Discover their purpose and make a difference through Christ Jesus. Bringing them to a realization that only Christ can save them and give them victory over everything.

OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY BIBLE
We believe that the Holy Bible, and only the Bible is the authoritative Word of God. It alone is the final authority in determining all doctrinal truths. In its original writing, it is inspired, infallible and inerrant
WE BELIEVE IN THE TRINITY
We believe that there is one God whose eternal existence is in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. They are co-equal and co-eternal.
WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is God the Son, the second person of the trinity. On earth He was 100% God and 100% man. He is the only man to ever live a sinless life. He was born a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross for mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day according to scriptures, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.
WE BELIEVE IN SALVATION
We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is a gift from God, not a result of our good works or any human efforts.
WE BELIEVE IN THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLYSPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit was given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus Christ after His Ascension, to empower the church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth.
WE BELIEVE IN THE SECOND COMING
We believe that Jesus Christ will physically and visibly return to earth for the second time to establish His Kingdom. This will occur at the date undisclosed by the Scriptures. We believe that He will return to earth in glory and the dead in Christ will rise and those alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of our God for eternity.

Meet our staff
Pastor Bernard Eshun General overseer
Pastor Bernard Eshun is the Founder and Senior Pastor at Victory Prayer Temple (VPT). He is a preacher of the word of God operating in diverse giftings of the Holy Spirit. After 11 years of following a Mission and Call to reach people for Jesus through prayer and leadership roles in diverse denominations, God led him and his wife to start Victory Prayer Temple in Worcester Massachusetts. Under his leadership Victory Prayer Temple is solid, founded on the doctrines of Jesus Christ and transforming the Lifes of people. His ministry is characterized by his compassion, patience, prayerful, and loving heart, raising a spirit filled people who are able to pray fervently and go to God with boldness believing that God hears the prayers of His people. Led by the Holy Spirit Pastor Bernard oversees the network of ministries of the Victory Prayer Temple fulfilling the divine destiny and call of the congregation and church.
Minister Hilda Eshun First Lady
Lady Hilda Eshun is the wife of the Senior Pastor and co-founder of VPT. She provides great support to the ministry of her husband and the church. She is a Ministers, Worshiper and also have diverse Gifting and Calling. Lady Hilda oversees multiple ministries including the women's ministry, praise and worship ministry and children's ministry. She is a believer of excellence, and her vision is to see the church grow and produce true Christians who are spirit filled.
John Ackon Secretary
Mr. Ackon our secretary is passionate about influencing society through Christ, mentoring a generation who are totally dependent on God. With over 35 years in the Ministry work, He has led many to Christ, mentored them and seen them become ministers of the gospel. His mentorship and leadership skills has gained him recognitions and appointments at various denominations such as ICGC. He continuous to impact His knowledge and skills at VPT. A kind and gentle man are what he is characterized by.
